Hello everyone

I hope you all feel better then me to day,

Had the 3rd meeting with my training manager and all she wanted to do is go over what we had talk about at our last meeting, but my union said this is not accaptable way of going on as all the unsettlement is making me poorly, so the manager then said all she could give me was 3-6hrs casual work a week. the union said this is not acceptable and as you know the union have to say what we are going to do next. but in this conversaion i said that there was access to work and they said they did not know anything about it so they left me to access it and fill forms in and let them know what was going to happen.

all my colleges have said to the line manager that the admin etc that i do they can not do with out me being there so they are on my side.

so now waiting for them to let me know what they are going to do as regards me if my job is safe.

so this is where i am at the minute

let you know how i go

keep safe and pain free

Audrey

Hi Audrey,

This doesn't sound as if anything has been settled at all, are you just being giving the run around, I certainly wouldn't like to be treated like this, you still don't know whats happening after three meetings.

I really hope you get this sorted out soon.

Hi Audrey,

Sorry to hear your problems at work, Ive had a nightmare since I went back in September. Have you contacted Access to Work.

I had to do this myself, if you ring them, they will send you a form out to complete and then they will arrange for an assessor to come into your workplace to do an assessment.

If you haven't already done this the telephone number is 01419505327, although it might be different depends on what area you are in.

They are really good, what type of work do you do?

Keep in touch
Love Michelle x.x.

Hello Audrey

I also had been off work for 7 half months. So when I started back I rang the access to work people who
came and visited me for an interview. They suggest all sorts of things to help in the work place and they
contribute money to your employer. I had a really good chair, key board and number pad even a 'swing'
cushion for my car to help me get in and out easier.

So well worth contacting them.

Good luck

Rose

Hi Audrey,
Hope it all goes well for you and don't take any nonsense! They need quite a bit of evidence to go down the capability route so try not to worry and make sure your union rep is on the ball and goes with you. Good luck
